Attention Commercial & Flea Market Vendors

The Von Braun Civic Center has notified the Hamfest Committee that Social Distancing rules pertaining to large gatherings will likely impact the layout of Hamfest 2020. 

This situation is forcing the Committee to adopt a cautious strategy of not accepting more reservations than we might ultimately have space to accommodate.

For this reason we are adding a WAITLIST page to all Commercial and Flea Market Registrations.  If you have already registered with or without payment, you are on the WAITLIST.

To be clear: if you’re planning to come, BY ALL MEANS REGISTER.  We will process the WAITLIST when it becomes clear how many booths and tables will be available.  Refunds of money paid will be offered in the event that vendors cannot be accommodated in the resulting available space.  Vendors who have already registered may be relocated to fit the within the South Hall space.

It will be likely that vendors in the Flea Market who have already registered may be relocated to fit the within the South Hall space.

As for Commercial vendors booths, it will be likely that the dimensions of most booths will have to be reduced from 10’x10’ to a standard size of 8’x10’ to allow for the 12’ aisles. It is our hope that this will be the only major change to the dealer show from past shows.

We are constantly reviewing the latest rules for large group gatherings resulting from the COVID-19 virus outbreaks that drive changes in our layout.  These policies are mandated by the Von Braun Center to ensure both the safety of our guests and to conform to the current requirements.

While it appears that Hamfest 2020 will look different than past years, our goal is still to host “The World’s Friendliest Hamfest”.
